Disasters know no geographic or seasonal limitations. Earthquakes, wildfires, floods, tornadoes, pandemics, acts of terrorism – even chemical spills and facility
malfunctions – can trigger a hospital evacuation at any time.
U.S. Air Ambulance (USAA) has developed the Hospital Evacuation Liaison Program (HELP), a proven, comprehensive approach to assist hospitals and long-term care facilities in planning for and executing an evacuation.
More than 500 medical facilities across the country have partnered with us as part of their commitment to patient
care and safety. We have successfully evacuated hundreds of patients during Hurricanes Katrina, Wilma, Gustav and Ike, and have been on high alert for evacuations in wildfire and flood areas of the country.
Please take a few minutes to explore our site, and call us. We'll be happy to discuss your program and share our program details. |

HELP provides both attention to detail as well as compassionate care during an evacuation. |
